Robert Pattinson has cast doubt over his acting future once work is completed on the four-part Twilight Saga.
The 23-year-old British actor is currently filming the third installment of the franchise, Eclipse, and has signed on to shoot the final part next year.
But in an interview with Seventeen magazine, Pattinson hinted that he might not carry on after Twilight.
“I don't even know if I want to be an actor that long,” he said.
“I don't even know how to be someone else... if I start doing lame work, I'm not going to stick around and do it!"
Pattinson, who plays vampire Edward Cullen, originally found fame in the Harry Potter films.
The actor has previously spoken about his ambition to launch a music career after contributing songs to the soundtrack to the original Twilight movie.
The second installment of the Twilight Saga, New Moon, is released on November 20.
