A representative of Taylor Swift has denied the singer is romantically linked to Twilight star Taylor Lautner.

Recent US media reports claimed the pair had grown close on the set of forthcoming movie, Valentine's Day.

And speculation increased last Saturday when Swift hugged Lautner during a concert in Chicago.

According to US Weekly, the pair also hung out at an after-party, where they “didn’t leave each other’s sides and left the club arm in arm at 3am”.

However, Swift's told Gossip Cop that the singer and Lautner were just “friends”.

Lautner is currently shooting the third installment of The Twilight Saga, entitled Eclipse, in Vancouver.
