Robert Pattinson has hinted at why he doesn't grace the soundtrack of Twilight saga sequel New Moon – it's because he felt like a “complete tosser” first time round.
The British actor contributed two songs for the first movie, which launched him to international heartthrob-dom, but is conspicuously absent from the New Moon album track-listing.
“When the first film came out I felt like a complete tosser," he says.
“It looked like I was trying to be cool or something, like Eminem. You know, be in a movie and then do a song for the soundtrack.
He adds in an interview with the Sydney Morning Herald: “But I didn't look cool, I just looked ridiculous."
The release date of New Moon soundtrack has been brought forward by a week to October 16 due to “to overwhelming and unprecedented demand.”
