Rihanna Hair Debuts Slick Back 'n' Sides In New York - Pictures

Rihanna ditched her sharp-shoulders and sheer dresses for high-style biker chic on Tuesday.

The Umbrella star arrived at a recording studio in New York clad in a leather jacket, ripped jeans over fishnets, silver chains and black boots.

To complete the look, the singer's punky blonde undercut was slicked back so that it resembled a golden tail from the back.

The flamboyantly-styled star has joined the Twitterati to announce the release date of her forthcoming album.

Unlike her dress sense, the star kept it simple with the message:  "The Wait Is Ova. Nov 23 09"
