Boyzone Star Stephen Gately 'Died Of Natural Causes'

Boyzone star Stephen Gately died of natural causes, a post-mortem has found.

An official said the singer suffered a pulmonary oedema, an accumulation of fluid on the lungs.

Gately's body has been released to his family and is expected to be flown home to Ireland.

The 33-year-old was found dead in his apartment on the holiday island of Majorca on Saturday.

Prior to today's announcement, Gately's family lawyer had ruled out foul play or suicide.
