Twilight star Taylor Lautner has admitted he is struggling to live without ice cream.

The 17-year-old actor has been forced to cut out fatty foods from his diet in order to play werewolf Jacob Black in the vampire saga.

In an interview with OK!, he said: “I really miss ice cream. My favourite flavour is actually cake batter.

“It's really good but I can't have it. It's torture."

Lautner put on 30lbs of muscle for the second instalment of the Twilight Saga, New Moon, which is released next month.

He showcased his new look last week during a wet t-shirt photo shoot for Rolling Stone magazine.
