Kerry Katona will face no further action after she was arrested on suspicion of assaulting her accountant.

The incident is said to have taken place at Hawthorne Business Park, Cheshire in August.

The former Atomic Kitten star was questioned on suspicion of committing assault, criminal damage and a public order offence.

Reports at the time claimed she punched and threw a cup of tea over David McHugh at his offices in an argument over her finances.

However, police investigating the incident have dropped the case following advice from the Crown Prosecution Service, reports the BBC.

The 29-year-old singer's arrest in August came just two weeks after the former singer was allegedly pictured snorting cocaine at her home.
