Tom Cruise takes a keen interest in Katie Holmes' wardrobe choices, the actress has revealed.

The former Dawson's Creek star – who has been criticised for her drab dress sense in the past – values her man's style advice because he has "great taste."

Katie says: "He usually likes everything, but sometimes I'll walk out and he'll say, 'I think that dress might be wearing you. You don't need that.' Tom has great taste."

The mother-of-one also reveals in the latest issue of Elle that her impeccably styled daughter Suri helped out in the fashion department during Katie's Broadway run in All My Sons.

“Suri would sit in my lap in the makeup chair," she says. "She’d hand the wig lady the bobby pins.“
