It's the path taken by thousands of couples every year – and yesterday Katy Perry and Russell Brand became the latest love birds to take a romantic stroll in Paris.
After days of speculation, the pair went public with their relationship during a short hand-held walk in Pere Lachaise Cemetery.
The couple looked lost in their own little world as they took in the famous surroundings, which include the tomb of Oscar Wilde, one of Brand's heroes.

The comedian later left Perry to do a spot of shopping at the Dior store on avenue Montaigne and grab a bite to eat at Les Deux Magots.
But the couple were soon reunited on the front row of John Galliano's catwalk show at Paris Fashion Week.

Perry placed her hand on Brand's knee as musician Prince and other esteemed guests looked on.
The couple's decision to go public with their romance follows intense media reports following their whirlwind trip to Thailand last week.

And after returning from their short break, the pair continued hid themselves away in Brand's London flat before Perry travelled to Paris on Saturday.
