Patrick Swayze, DJ AM, Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett are among the recently deceased stars resurrected in a new episode of South Park.

In 'I See Dead Celebrities,' the famous spirits appear as ghostly apparitions to Kyle's little brother Ike because they are all supposedly trapped in purgatory, waiting to enter heaven.

Ike becomes possessed by Jackson's spirit but (spoiler alert!) is saved when Kyle, Stan, Cartman and Kenny take him to a child beauty pageant.

South Park is famous for pushing the boundaries of taste, and drew criticism last year for poking fun at Barack Obama's dead grandmother.

However, recent genius cameos have included gay fish-lover Kanye West and Susan Boyle as 'Fatbeard'.
