Katie Holmes Eyeing Up Role In Twilight Saga?

Does Katie Holmes fancy sinking her teeth into a role in the Twilight saga?

The actress has professed to a love of vampire movies – but only if they're done right.

On the subject of her favourite film genre, she says: “It can be any genre. I even like vampire movies - they just have to be well done.

“I want to believe in the characters. The minute it starts to feel not real, I’m not interested.”

Well, there's no shortage of people who believe in Edward, Bella and company.

Meanwhile, Tom Cruise's missus is happy to let her career take a back seat to family life.

She tells the November issue of Elle: “In my own life, my whole world really revolves around family.

“I do what I need to do, but it’s like, ‘How is everybody else doing?’ And it’s wonderful for me as an actress to put some of that into a character.”

Katie reveals that juggling motherhood and last year's stint in Broadway play All My Son's often meant bringing three-year-old daughter Suri to work.

She says: “Suri would sit in my lap in the makeup chair. She’d hand the wig lady the bobby pins.“
