Alex Reid was angered by claims he used to be a cross dresser, according to reports.

A tabloid report yesterday said Reid had confessed to girlfriend Katie Price that he had worn girls' clothes in private since the age of sixteen

It also stated that the cage fighter liked to be known as Roxanne when in drag.

However, a spokesman for Reid has denied the reports and insisted they were made up by Price as a publicity stunt.

"He's really p*ssed off about it,” the spokesman told The Sun. "This is Katie messing around.

"It looks really sleazy and is incredibly frustrating for Alex."

Reid began dating Price in July following her split from husband Peter Andre.
