Russell Brand has apparently claimed that he is in love with Katy Perry.

The comedian and actor is said to be besotted with the singer after a romantic break in Thailand together last week.

Perry, who was wooed by Brand at last month's MTV Video Music Awards, then spent two days holed up in the comedian's London flat.

Brand was quoted as telling The Sun newspaper yesterday morning: "I think I'm in love,” but he remained tight-lipped when asked about his time with Perry.

However, his comments come as pictures were emerged today showing two mystery women turning up at Brand's home yesterday evening.

The casually dressed women made no attempt to hide as they were escorted into the comedian's flat.

As Entertainmentwise reported yesterday, Perry travelled straight Paris Fashion Week from Brand's home on Saturday.

The star was accompanied by singer Rihanna to Jean-Paul Gautier's catwalk show and has been a regular in the front row.
