Actor Jack Hudson has joined Kellan Lutz in commenting on Robert Pattinson's prisoner-like existence while filming Eclipse in Vancouver.

The fellow Brit - who makes his Twilight debut as Royce King II in the third vampire installment - reveals that Rob doesn't get to socialise much for fear of being accosted by fans and paparazzi, who – literally, it seems – want a piece of him.

“I don’t think he gets to hang out with many people because he’s sort of jailed to his room,” Jack tells OK!.

“He can’t leave without being follow by a hundred people,” he adds. “There’s a price to fame. But hopefully he’s handling it okay.”

According to a new report, Rob managed to escape his hotel prison to attend a private party with Kristen Stewart recently.
