Kylie Minogue Goes GaGa For First Ever US Tour - Pictures

Kylie Minogue appeared to have had a rumage through Lady Gaga's style locker before kicking off her first ever US tour yesterday.

The original pop poppet took to the stage in a series of futuristic, out-of-this-world outfits that bore a striking resemblance to the space age style that has become the Poker Face singer's trademark.

The 'Showgirl' theme of Kylie's world tour has been replaced by eccentric headdresses and wraps, metallic leotards and corsets, and thigh-high stiletto boots, with designs by Jean Paul Gautier and Dolce & Gabbana.

Kylie played the first of two nights at the Fox Oakland Theatre in California last night.

She will move on to Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Toronoto, before finishing with three shows in New York.
