Anna Friel has insisted that no one could play Holly Golighty in Breakfast At Tiffany's as well as Audrey Hepburn.

The actress is currently starring as the character made famous by Hepburn in the new stage adaptation of Truman Captoe's 1958 novella.

But, in an interview with the London Lite, Friel said she had no plans to copy the legendary actress's rendition in the 1961 movie version.

"There's no-one could do it like Hepburn. She played that role so perfectly,” Friel said.

“No-one cancopy that and I would never even think about doing such a thing."

Breakfast At Tiffany's is scheduled to run at the Haymarket Theatre Royal in London until January.
