Taylor Lautner finds the prospect of Twihards drooling over his pumped-up pecs “a little bit embarrassing.”

Much has been made of the 30lbs of ripped muscle the 17-year-old packed on to play werewolf Jacob Black in Twilight sequel New Moon.

Plus, we've seen the impressive results in promo images released by Summit Entertainment in anticipation of the film's release in November.

But despite the positive feedback, Taylor still feels a little self-conscious showing off his buff body.

"It's actually quite uncomfortable knowing so many people are seeing that!" he tells US magazine. "It's a little bit embarrassing!"

From what we've seen, Taylor has absolutely nothing to be embarrassed about, wouldn't you agree?

He adds that his new physique took "a lot of hard work. Eating, working out - a lot of stuff."
