Things are getting serious for Kate Hudson and Alex 'A-Rod' Rodriguez – the couple spent Monday house-hunting with the baseball star's two children.

After viewing an eight-bedroom pad in Pacific Palisades, the pair – whose romance was first reported in May – checked out more houses in the $10 million-plus range in Malibu.

As well as A-Rod's kids from his marriage to ex-wife Cynthia, the couple were helped out on their house-hunting mission by Kate's stepdad Kurt Russell.

The group seemed like one big happy family as Kate carried the New York Yankee star's 18-month-old tot Ella, while holding on to his elder daughter Natasha's hand.

At the end of a tiring day spent looking at luxury homes, the group went to Taverna Tony in Malibu.
