Megan Fox's Sexy Cheerleader Fails To Lure Movie-goers - Pictures

It's seems the promise of watching Megan Fox play a sexy, possessed cheerleader who likes to kiss her female pals isn't enough to tempt US movie-goers into cinemas.

Jennifer's Body - the much-hyped horror flick starring the Transformers star - limped into the US box office charts at number five, according to Boxoffice.com.

The movie took $6.9 million in its opening week - a long way off the $30 million taken by the number one movie, kids animation Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs.

Megan recently revealed she found filming the lesbian kissing scene "really, really awkward."

She said: "Any time you do a kissing scene or a love scene it's awkward but especially in that one because neither one of us wanted to be doing it and we were both terrified.

"But when you do scenes like that it's not at all sexy or sensual."
