Here's a rare glimpse of Robert Pattinson on the Eclipse set over the weekend.

According to muliple reports, Summit - the film-makers behind the Twilight movies - are going to great lengths to shield their star from paparazzi and fans as he films the third instalment of the vampire saga in Vancouver.

But photographers grabbed a few fuzzy frames of the actor in full Edward Cullen make up as he climbed into a car.

Also snapped on set was Peter Fascinelli in his Carlisle get-up, and Ashley Greene, who chatted on her mobile during a break in filming.
