Katherine Heigl and Josh Kelley have introduced their adopted daughter to the world in a collection of adorable family photos.

The Grey's Anatomy star and her musician husband have named the 10-month-old Korean girl Nancy Leigh (or Naleigh for short) after Katherine’s mother Nancy and Katherine's adopted sister Margaret Leigh, also from Korea.

The photos were posted on the Jason Heigl Foundation website, an animal charity set up by Katherine and her mother in memory of the actress' brother Jason who died in a car crash in 1986 aged just 15.

The star's rep says: "Katherine, Josh and Naleigh are together and doing well."

Katherine talked of her plans to adopt Naleigh, a special needs child, on the Ellen Degeneres Show last week.

She told the host her new daughter "was actually born the day before me in November, which I thought was really serendipitous and just kind of like a sign."
