Amy Winehouse performed an impromptu gig at a London venue last night – in the company of former boyfriend Tyler James.

Amid rumours the troubled singer is back with recently ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil, the Rehab star put onlookers off the musty scent by stepping out with with another ex.

The pair enjoyed an intimate date at Pizza Express, before strolling hand-in-hand to Jazz After Dark in Soho, where Amy took to the stage to perform a few tracks.

This being Amy, the night couldn't end without some drama.

It came as the singer was ushered from the venue swigging from a glass of wine and straight into a crowd of paparazzi and spectators.

Amy had to be held back from lunging at photographers, and there was even a brief encounter with a patrol car full of bemused police officers.

Throughout, Amy seemed enamoured with her date for the evening.

At one stage, she rebuffed a fan's request for a kiss, telling the disappointed passerby, "Sorry, I'm with my boyfriend."

Amy and Tyler, a singer, dated in 2003 when they were labelmates at Island Records.
