Madonna's estranged brother Christopher Ciccone has lashed out at his superstar sister following her appearance on the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday.

The Celebration singer opened the ceremony with a special dedication to the late Michael Jackson, during which she compared the tragic star's life to her own.

Now Christopher has once again slammed his famous sibling, along with her new toy-boy Jesus, bizarrely citing her hairstyle as evidence of the bad company she keeps.

“She looked like Rachel Zoe (fashion stylist) gone horribly wrong!,” he bitched to E! News.

"It proves the point that you can judge a person by the company they keep - or don't keep.

“It's painfully apparent that Jesus may be able to turn water into wine, but your basic blow dryer eludes him."

Christopher was reportedly banished from Madge's inner circle in 2008 after he dished on her personal life in his tell-all-tome Life With My Sister Madonna.

Earlier this month, it was claimed the pair were taking steps to patch up their relationship for the sake of their ageing father.
