Miley Cyrus Slams Kanye West For Taylor Swift VMAs Outburst

Miley Cyrus has criticised Kanye West for interrupting Taylor Swift's acceptance speech at the MTV Video Music Awards.

The rapper stormed on stage at New York's Radio City Music Hall on Sunday to complain that Taylor Swift had won Best Female Video Prize over Beyonce.

During an appearance on The Jay Leno Show, the Hannah Montana star said she would have handled the situation differently if it had happened to her.

“I would have said, '[You're] rude, disrespectful', and I think I just would have to tell him to let me finish my speech,” Cyrus said.

Meanwhile, the 16-year-old actress praised Beyonce for allowing Swift to deliver her acceptance speech later in the ceremony.

 "I'm happy that she got to do that,” Cyrus said.

West, who has faced a barrage of criticism from celebrities and the public, apologised to Swift during a phone call on Tuesday.
