Katie Price has claimed she was raped by a “famous celebrity” and that her ex-husband Peter Andre knows who the person is.

The former glamour model first revealed last month that she had been raped when she was younger.

At the time, Andre, who split with Price in May, said he was shocked by the claim and denied knowing the identity of the rapist.

But in an new interview with OK! magazine, Price said:"A famous celebrity raped me and Peter knows who it was.

“It was years ago before I was with Pete, and my friends and family knew about it at the time."

When asked why Andre had denied knowing about the attack, Price replied:  "I have no idea. He's not the Pete I knew any more. He's being really cruel when he knows exactly who did it."

However, Price refused to say why she had failed to report the rape at the time.

"Next question. I don't want to go down that road. I don't want to talk about that ever again,” she said.

As Entertainmentwise reported earlier, Andre has claimed that Price has been sending him text messages recently saying she still loves him.
