Mischa Barton could almost pass for her younger, O.C.-era self at New York Fashion week over the weekend.

Just over two months since her spell in a psychiatric ward for an undisclosed medical condition (generally believed to be 'partying' related), the actress looked stunning as she attended day four of the event.

Dressed in a revealing plunge neck Herve Leger dress, Mischa looked in better shape than she has in a long time.

As she shared a joke with pal Peaches Geldolf in the front row of the Herve Ledger show, the 23-year-old was almost unrecognisable as the bloated mess pictured hitting up London clubs earlier this summer.

It was also a far cry from the pale and gaunt figure that showed up to London Fashion Week in January.

Mischa recently played down her stay in hospital, telling The View host Whoopi Goldberg: "Really, it was blown out of proportion. It's kind of silly now to be talking about it because I'm so fine now, but it was just a really bad time for me.

“It was sort of one of those things. It was like a perfect storm - everything happened at once.

“I was overwhelmed, I had too much work going on, I had surgery for my wisdom teeth that went really badly.

'” had two surgeries - I had four [teeth] taken out and it had gone really badly wrong - they had to drill into my jaw and I was just in excruciating pain.

“I was having Novocaine shots every day to minimise the pain. It really was rock bottom.”
