Janet Jackson paid a thrilling tribute to her late brother Michael at last night's VMAs.
Whilst her brothers and sister have given multiple interviews about the tragic star, the Control singer let the music do the talking with an emotionally-charged performance of their hit duet Scream.

Some of the music's biggest stars including Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez and Alicia Keys went wild in the audience as Janet danced in synch with the Thriller star, as the song's video played on a giant screen behind her.

Even the villain of the night Kanye West looked to be enjoying himself as Janet lip-synched to the track wearing a single Jacko trademark white glove.

At the end of the tribute performance, the singer looked upwards and closed her eyes.
Madonna also saluted the King of Pop, and revealed her feelings of guilt after Michael's death for "abandoning" the troubled star.
The pop queen was close to tears as she opened the show by honouring Michael's memory and declaring: "Long live the king."
