Gossip Girl star Taylor Momsen wowed fans during a high octane gig with her band The Pretty Reckless in New York last night.

The 16-year-old actress wore a loose fitting white shirt and black stockings and suspenders at the Teen Vogue Block Party on Perry Street.

Momsen, who plays the not-so-innocent Jenny Humphrey in Gossip Girl, told fans it was “awesome” to be playing outside.

The Pretty Reckless are due to release their debut album this Autumn via Interscope Records.     

Momsen is currently in New York filming the third series of Gossip Girl, which stars airing later this month.
