Susan Boyle is to perform on the final of America's Got Talent next week, it's been reported.

The Britain's Got Talent star is expected to preview material from her forthcoming album on the programme.

According to the Daily Mail, US TV bosses have been trying to secure Boyle's appearance ever since she became a YouTube sensation earlier this year.

“NBC are buzzing with excitement about Miss Boyle’s performance,” a source said.

“All the networks have been putting in requests for her to appear on their shows, but it seemed fitting that she should maker her US TV singing debut on America’s Got Talent.”

Boyle has been working on her debut album since she came runner up on Britain's Got Talent.

Despite being the bookies' favourite, the 48-year-old lost out in the live final of the competition to dance act Diversity.
