Jack Tweed has been arrested in connection with the alleged rape of a teenage girl at his Essex home.

A 19-year-old woman told officers at Waltham Forest police station that Jade Goody's widower, along with events promoter Ashley Rubin, subjected her to a sex attack at Tweed's luxury pad in the early hours of this morning.

She is thought to have met the pair at Embassy nightclub in London.

Tweed and another man were arrested when police swooped on his home in Redbridge at around 7am.

A Met Police spokesman confirmed: "A female in her late teens made an allegation of sexual assault this morning. The alleged incident occurred in the Redbridge area in the early hours.

"Two men in their twenties have been arrested in connection with the inquiry which is ongoing."

Tweed's camp have so far refused to comment on the arrest.
