Kerry Katona has asked police to investigate where parts of her fortune have gone, it's been reported.

The ex-Atomic Kitten star is said to have filed an official complaint over fears that substantial sums of money have disappeared.

Katona, 28, is understood to have earned £1million over the past two years from lucrative media and advertising deals.

But she was declared bankrupt last August after failing to pay an £82,000 tax demand, according to the Daily Mirror.

A source said: “Kerry is determined to get to the bottom of where her money has gone.

“She believes that fraud has been committed and is determined to bring whoever did it to justice.”

Katona was dropped from her Iceland advertising campagin last month after a Sunday newspaper published pictures of her allegedly snorting cocaine.

She was also arrested and bailed by police on suspicion of assaulting a man, reported to be her accountant, in Warrington.
