Sarah Jessica Parker showed off biceps Madonna would be proud off as she stepped out in New York yesterday.

The actress flexed some muscle as she ran errands during a day off from filming the new Sex and the City movie.

Despite being dressed down in a simple jersey-dress, SJP was still very much in SATC mode – she accessorised her off-duty look with a day-glo green 'Sex and the City 2' wristband.

On Tuesday, she slipped back into Carrie Bradshaw's designer threads for the big screen sequel of the hit TV show.
