Peter Andre has described meeting boxing legend Muhammad Ali as a “dream come true”.

Andre serenaded Ali during a celebration of the boxer's sporting achievements at the Britannia Stadium in Stoke-on-Trent yesterday.

Writing about the event on his Twitter pager, Andre said: “Have just had the greatest honour of not only meeting but singing 'Unconditional' to the greatest Muhammad Ali. Dream come true.

“What an amazing man and his wonderful wife . I will never forget this day for the rest of my life.

“On way back home now. Tired but buzzing.”

Ali's appearance in Stoke, which attracted hundreds of fans, is part of a fund-raising charity tour of Britain.
