Lily Allen has admitted she may have scared men away from her by writing a song about bad sexual experiences with the opposite sex.
The singer scored chart success earlier this year with Not Fair, which mocked men who were inadequate in the bedroom.
But in an interview with Elle magazine, Allen said the song may have had a negative impact on future relationships.
When asked if men were scared of her, she replied: “Yes, they are. I wish I'd never written Not Fair.
“You know, the thought honestly - really, honestly - never even occurred to me that it would scare men. I thought it might empower women.
"I thought women would go: 'Oh God, yes, at last somebody is saying it.'
"I didn't think it would put me in a position where guys would be like, 'Whoa, no, I'm not sleeping with you in case you write something about it!'”
The song doesn't seem to bother Allen's new builder Sam Cooper, however.
Allen confirmed rumours she was dating the self-employed labourer during a radio appearance earlier this week.
