Kerry Katona has been released on bail after her arrest on suspicion of assaulting a man in Warrington.
The former Atomic Kitten star was taken into custody at Hawthorne Business Park yesterday.
She was questioned on suspicion of committing assault, criminal damage and a public order offence, police said.
The victim of the attack has not been formally identified, but, according to the Sun newspaper, the man is thought to be Katona's accountant.
She is said to have punched and thrown a cup of tea over David McHugh at his offices in Warrington.
Police have bailed Katona until October 12.
The incident comes just two weeks after the former singer was allegedly pictured snorting cocaine at her home.
Katona,28, was dropped from a lucrative advertising deal with the supermarket chain Iceland following the publication of the pictures.
