Taylor Lautner has revealed his favourite scene in the forthcoming Twilight film, New Moon.

The 17-year-old actor plays a more prominent role in the second movie as his friendship with Bella Swan, played by Kristen Stewart, becomes more serious.

In an interview with MTV, Lautner said he had enjoyed working more closely with Stewart, whose character dates vampire Edward Cullen.

When asked what his favourite scene in the movie was, he replied: “My favourite one was — well, we call it the breakup scene — but it's the scene right after she sees me shirtless and I've cut off my hair, all different for the first time.

“I have to tell her that we can't be friends anymore.”

Robert Pattinson, who plays Cullen, recently revealed he found it “uncomfortable” taking his clothes off in the movie.

Pattinson strips off during an intimate kissing scene with Stewart.

New Moon is due to be released in cinemas worldwide on November 20.
