Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have fallen out over the actress' preoccupation with work over spending quality time as a family, it's claimed.

The couple ended up sleeping apart during their current stay in France after tempers flared when Brad discovered Angelina had brought along a "box of scripts" to read, claims the latest issue of US OK!.

“Brad has been adamant that Angie spend time with the family and focus on them with as much passion and energy as she does all her project,” a source explains.

After being supposedly being ordered to the couch by Angelina, Brad "played video games with the boys all night and made breakfast for the family in the morning, including fresh grapefruit juice for Angie,” says the source.

Meanwhile, the alleged friction hasn't stopped the couple adding to their six-strong brood - with gerbils and goldfish from a local pet store.
