Amy Winehouse is still in love with her former husband Blake Fielder-Civil, her mother has revealed.
Winehouse and Fielder-Civil were granted a divorce last month, but reports have since claimed the estranged couple are still in contact.
In an interview with Closer magazine, Janis Winehouse said her daughter still loved Fielder-Civil even though “she knows he's bad for her”.
She added: "Amy's done so well getting healthy again. We all hope it's not true they're back in touch, but Amy is like a child.
“She says, 'I love Blake, I love him', and it's hard to talk her out of it."
Janis also revealed that she and Winehouse's father, Mitch, would “step back” from their daughter should she rekindle her relationship.
Winehouse's family have frequently maintained that Fielder-Civil was the person who introduced the singer to hard drugs.
