Amy Winehouse is being helped through her divorce from Blake Fielder-Civil by David Gest, it's been reported.

The singer is said to have met the I'm A Celebrity... star through mutual friend Matt Willis.

According to the Daily Mirror, the pair have met up twice this week alone – although Winehouse reportedly dissolved into tears during their first meeting at a London pub.

"A few drinks did nothing to cheer her and she ended up sobbing her eyes out in the pub,” a source said.

"She was inconsolable. David put his arm around her to try and soothe her.

"But she was still crying when they decided to call it a night and get her a cab."

However, the singer was apparently in better spirits on Tuesday, when Gest invited her around for dinner.

"David has been a support to Amy through a low point,” the source said.

A high court judge awarded Winehouse and Fielder-Civil a Decree Nisi last month. The couple married in May 2007.
