Jonas Brothers Star To Follow Victoria Beckham Onto American Idol

Joe Jonas is to make a guest appearance as a judge on American Idol.

The Jonas Brothers star will join judges Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Kara DioGuardi at the auditions in Dallas.

It will mark the second time Jonas has appeared on the programme. The brothers sang on talent contest's live finale in 2008.

American Idol bosses have been employing guest judges following Paula Abdul's decision to quit the programme earlier this month.

Other stars due to appear on the next series of American Idol include Mary J Blige, Shania Twain and Katy Perry, according to Us Weekly.
