Kerry Katona 'Goes On Holiday As Police Call At UK Home'

Kerry Katona has fled the UK to go on a family holiday to Tenerife amid reports she was taking drugs.

The former Atomic Kitten star was spotted yesterday playing with her children on a slip n' slide at the holiday resort's pool.

The getaway comes just days after pictures of Katona allegedly snorting cocaine at her UK home were published in the News of the World.

According to the Sun newspaper, police called at the singer's home in Cheshire yesterday intending to speak to her, but had to talk to her nanny, Gemma.

A source said: "They told Gemma they were acting on a complaint about Kerry taking part in alleged illicit activities.

"Gemma was startled and explained that Kerry wasn't there.”

As Entertainmentwise reported yesterday, Katona has been sacked as the public face of supermarket chain Iceland the following drugs allegations.

In a statement, the company said it was “impossible” for Katona to continue in her position.
