Sean Penn And Wife Robin Wright 'To Divorce'

Sean Penn and his wife Robin Wright Penn have filed for divorce for the third time, it's been reported.

Wright Penn is said to have filed the petition in Marin County, California last week, citing “irreconcilable differences”.

According to People magazine, the couple have agreed to shared custody of their son, Hopper Jack, 16, and to a “division of all property”.

The couple, who married in 1996, have another child together, Dylan Francis, 18.

Penn and Wright Penn's previous applications for divorce – in December 2007 and April this year – were later withdrawn.

Penn was quoted as describing the most recent application as “an arrogant mistake”.
