Jennifer Lopez: 'Becoming A Mother Has Changed My Life'

Jennifer Lopez has said becoming a mother has transformed her life.

The singer and husband Marc Anthony welcomed the arrival of twins Max and Emme 18 months ago.

In an interview with InStyle magazine, J-Lo said: "There's nothing as huge as giving birth to another human being and having to be responsible for another life.

"There's you before kids, and there's you after kids – and they're not the same you."

Lopez, who turned 40 in July, revealed that motherhood had changed her perspective on “everything”.

"You don't come first any more. There's somebody else you care more about than yourself,” she said.

Lopez also said she expected to take a step back from acting and singing because of her new responsibility.

"I'm at a point in my life when I just don't feel the need to put out anything unless I totally, absolutely feel it says what I want to say," she said.
