Taylor Lautner's muscles play a prominent role in the just-released New Moon teaser trailer.

Whilst we've glimpsed his newly-ripped werewolf physique in previous promo shots, the new 14-second clip shows just how much work the actor put in to beef up for part two of the Twilight saga.

The sneak peek features Edward's (Robert Pattinson) departure, and then two emotional exchanges between Jacob (Taylor) and Bella (Kristen Stewart.)

In the first Jacob comforts a distraught Bella, and in the second Bella says “You're so beautiful” as she gazes at a shirtless Jacob.

She's got a point.

Unfortunately, we'll have to wait a little while longer for Rob's shirtless scene.
