You wait ages for one set of scandalous pictures and then two come along at once. Following Vanessa Hudgen's latest batch of nudes, naked photos of Ashley Greene have been 'leaked' online.

After the emergence of the candid snaps – including a full frontal pose -  on Monday morning, the Twilight star's lawyers got straight on the case, threatening legal action action against anyone failing to remove them.

A statement from her legal rep reads: "The photos in question, which appear to be of our client, are illegal and are being unlawfully displayed.

"Our client intends to take legal action."

Those posting the pictures were also told: "Ms. Greene is the owner of the copyrights in these photos, and, as copyright owner, Ms. Greene owns the exclusive rights, among others, to reproduce, distribute, and to display the photos."

The tough approach seems to have paid off, resulting in the removal of the pictures from blogs and websites.

Meanwhile, Ms. Greene is making headlines as the co-star of another set of candid photos.

She was snapped locking lips with long-term 'pal' Chase Crawford as the Gossip Girl star dropped her off at LAX airport on Monday morning.
