Peter Andre has revealed he wants his pop comeback to mirror the success of Robbie Williams.
The Australian singer, who releases new single Behind Closed Doors today, said he had his sights set on carving out a long career.
"When Elton, Rod and people like that were signed up they had seven-album deals,” he told The Sun newspaper.
"It will take me two or three credible albums to be mentioned in the same breath but that's what I aspire to.
"I believe I can do what Robbie Williams did. People gave Robbie s*** for being the fat kid from TAKE THAT when he was doing Freedom.
"He felt how I feel now."
Andre, who recently split from wife Katie Price, could face competition in the charts from Williams, who announced plans to return later this year.
The former Take That star's new album Reality Killed the Video Star is due out in the autumn.
