Britain's Got Talent's Susan Boyle has decided to continue living in London and will only return to her native Scotland as a visitor.

The 48-year-old singer, who had previously rarely left her hometown of Blackburn, has taken a shine to the capital since she arrived earlier this year to work on her album.

Speaking to Harper's Bazaar, she said: “I’ll go back to visit but you have to move on.”

Her comments come just weeks after it was claimed Boyle had bought her Scottish council house to stop it being reclaimed.

Meanwhile, Boyle also admitted in her interview with the American magazine that was still getting used to her new life in the spotlight.

“It will take a bit of adjusting to because I’ve led a sheltered life,” she said.
