Twilight star Robert Pattinson has admitted he feels paranoid that his worldwide fame will ruin the lives of any future girlfriends.

The 23-year-old actor said he had found it difficult to strike up a relationship since Twilight became a worldwide hit last year.

“I'm always really worried about ruining their lives. Especially with people that aren't famous,” he told OK! magazine.

“It's such a massive change. I'm kind of a paranoid wreck."

Pattinson has been romantically linked to a host of a-listers over the last twelve months, including his Twilight co-star Kirsten Stewart.

The actress recently denied rumours she was was expecting Pattinson's baby.

As Entertainmentwise reported earlier, the actor was mobbed by a female fan as he arrived at New York's JFK airport last night.
