On Thursday night Katie Holmes showed off the fruits of all those hours spent in the dance studio over the past few months.

The actress' fancy foot work was shown on the 100th anniversary episode of US TV talent show So You Think You Can Dance.

Tom's missus paid homage to Judy Garland with her own routine inspired by the screen legend's Get Happy song from the movie Summer Stock.

As well as showcasing some nifty moves, Katie flaunted her long, toned pins in a black leotard and tights.

She also wore replicas of Garland's trademark jacket and hat for the sequence.

Katie said: "I like to sing and dance, so it is really fun."
