The 30-year-old actress may not always score in the fashion stakes, nor avoid cruel comments about her relationship with Tom Cruise.

But with not a nanny in sight, you can't knock Mrs Cruise for failing to be a hands-on parent.

This is only Katie's second movie role since her 2005 marriage to the Top Gun star.

And while a hectic career keeps the star far from home, she's keeping Suri close by her side.
